Surround-sound style concert at Gallery Bergen in Paramus, NJ. Englewinds celebrates the branching out of people and of ideas featuring the world premiere of Onhata Shon'a (“Branches”) by Dawn Avery, 2021 commission Wingspan by Martha Sullivan; Umoja by Valerie Coleman; Alchemy by David Sanford; Wings by Joan Tower; Elephant by Carman Moore. Stella Splendida by Tomoko Ohno and Out of Chrysalis by Sarah Davol. Concert is in coordination with the gallery’s exhibit of “Women of the Ramapough Lenape Nation“: photographic portraits of women embodying poetic myths by Lisa Levart.
